What we collect
When you create an account or purchase a course, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment data is processed by our payment provider. We never store raw card numbers. When you browse, we collect basic usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type) to improve the product.
How we use it
- Deliver courses, certificates, and events you've registered for
- Send transactional emails: receipts, password resets, reminders
- Improve the platform by understanding how people use it
- Prevent fraud and keep your account secure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Who can see your data
Our small team can access your account data to help with support requests. We use a handful of trusted third-party tools (analytics, payment processing, email delivery) each contractually required to protect your data under applicable privacy laws.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, plus three years after closure (for legal and accounting purposes). Purchase records are retained for seven years as required by tax law. You can request deletion of everything else at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. To exercise any of these, email us at privacy@simulatedsphere.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypt sensitive data at rest, and run regular security reviews. No system is bulletproof. If we ever detect a breach that affects your data, we'll tell you promptly and clearly. The small number of cookies the site sets, and what each does, is listed in our Cookie Policy.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll email you before it takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
