Delete your Quiz Ultimatum account.
Quiz Ultimatum by Simulated Sphere. Delete it from inside the game, or ask us by email if you no longer have the app.
Two ways to delete your account
You can delete your account from inside the game, or, if you no longer have it installed, ask us by email. Either way the result is the same.
1. In the game
Open Settings → Delete Account, then confirm. Because you are already signed in on your device, we do not need to check anything else, and the deletion starts straight away. This works for every account, including guest accounts, and it is the quickest route. If you can still open the game, please use it.
2. By email
Email privacy@simulatedsphere.com with your Player ID, and say whether you would like your whole account deleted or only some of your data.
If your account has an email address, whether you signed up with one or used “Continue with Google”, please write to us from that same address. If you played as a guest, there is no address to write from, so we will confirm the account is yours before we delete anything, and we may ask you a question or two along the way.
We will not delete an account until we are reasonably sure it belongs to the person asking. If we cannot establish that, we will tell you rather than delete someone else's account, and deleting in the game is always open to you instead.
How long it takes
Deletion from inside the game starts immediately. If you email us, we will reply to confirm, and complete the deletion within 30 days of being satisfied the account is yours.
Where to find your Player ID
In the game, open Friends → Add friend. Your Player ID is the 10-character code on the card under “Share this to get friend requests”. For example, 3YIR7C1J9L.
It tells us which account to delete. On its own it does not tell us the account is yours, because the game invites you to share it so that friends can add you, which is why we confirm ownership as well.
What gets deleted
- your account, email address and password;
- your username, avatar and Player ID;
- your friends list and friend requests;
- your statistics, achievements and streaks;
- your match history;
- your sign-in sessions.
What we keep, and for how long
- Anonymous, aggregated counts of which quiz topics are popular, which contain nothing that identifies you.
- A record of your deletion request for up to 12 months, to show we handled it.
- Advertising data held by Google (AdMob) is covered by Google's own policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
Good to know
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Guest accounts especially stay on our servers until you ask.
- Deletion is permanent. Your progress, friends and history cannot be recovered afterwards.
- If you bought the ad-free upgrade, the purchase belongs to your Google Play or App Store account; deleting your game account does not refund it.
